This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified tax professional to take the next step in their career, working with a diverse client portfolio and gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory work within a supportive practice environment.

The Role

As a Tax Senior, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. You will work closely with partners and colleagues to provide insightful guidance and ensure timely and accurate tax reporting.

Your responsibilities as the Tax Senior will include:
  • Preparing and reviewing personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Supporting tax planning and advisory projects.
  • Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
  • Reviewing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice.
To be considered for this Tax Senior role, you will require:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice in a tax-focused role.
  • Qualified or part-qualified in ACCA, ACA, CTA, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge across personal and/or corporate tax.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

If you are an experienced tax professional looking for your next opportunity within a dynamic practice, we would love to hear from you. Apply now or contact Sheridan Maine for further information.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK on a full-time basis without restriction.

Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to all candidates. If you do not hear from us within five working days, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion.
