We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Adults Learning Disabilities Team within Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:
Strong assessment and care planning skills using a strengths-based, person-centred approach
Sound working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and its application in adults learning disabilities practice
Ability to undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments and contribute to best interest decision-making
Experience of safeguarding adults at risk and managing risk effectively
Confidence working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and dual diagnoses
Ability to work collaboratively with health professionals, providers, families, and advocates
Effective communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication methods to meet individual needs
Competence in managing a varied caseload and prioritising work in a busy statutory environment
Accurate, timely, and legally compliant case recording skills
Commitment to equality, diversity, co-production, and anti-discriminatory practice.
To ideal candidate will have:
Social Work England registration
Eligibility to work in the UK
Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
