HR Manager (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (pro rata)

Hours:

Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Start Date:

ASAP - Contract until June (end of term)
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term/temporary contract. This role is pivotal in managing the full HR function within our school, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality support to staff and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
Oversee payroll checking and processing in collaboration with the finance team.
Lead and support HR projects aligned with school objectives.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
Report directly to the Bursar and Board of Governors.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar HR role within the education sector.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.

Experience with MIS systems and HR software.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Additional Information

There will be a handover period to ensure a smooth transition.
This is an on-site role; remote working is not available.
