OpportunityAs a Senior Front End Engineer, you will own the technical architecture and implementation of our Design System, scaling best‑in‑class UX to almost half a million learners. You’ll bridge engineering and design, focus on technical execution, and explore how AI and agentic tools can transform product building.
Responsibilities- Architect, build, and maintain our scalable design system (React, Type Script, Tailwind) and collaborate on the strategic roadmap.
- Ensure component library is performant, accessible, and production‑ready (observability, accessibility, responsive quality).
- Partner with product teams to drive adoption and integration of a best‑in‑class developer experience.
- Translate Figma concepts into reusable, production‑ready components, owning technical implementation and APIs.
- Prototype and test new front‑end workflows that leverage AI and agentic tools.
- Mentor engineers to elevate front‑end craft; act as technical consultant for designers regarding feasibility.
- Help enable product and design to ship high‑quality experiences faster with less friction.
- 5+ years in a senior front‑end engineering role with a proven track record of production‑quality UIs.
- Expert‑level knowledge of React, Type Script, and modern front‑end tooling; experience with Tailwind a strong plus.
- Deep experience building, scaling, and maintaining a design system or comparable component library.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) and core web performance metrics.
- Excellent eye for design and UX; comfortable collaborating closely with designers to implement advanced motion, interaction, and brand elements.
- Experience with AI/agentic tooling or strong curiosity to explore new technologies is highly desirable.
