The role is for a developer specialising in the Microsoft Power platform technology stack (SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages). It is a client-facing role supporting fee‑earning projects and programmes, and involves interfacing with the Mace project team and occasionally stakeholders from other organisations.
Responsibilities- Work autonomously on smaller or low‑complexity projects, or as part of a larger project team responsible for a particular deliverable or area of delivery.
- Contribute to the development of digital tools, processes and outputs, including collaboration sites and associated user interfaces, that support the wider project team and enable better delivery of projects for our clients.
- Adhere to a structured development lifecycle that includes requirements definition, design, development and testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, handover and post‑implementation support.
- Gather basic requirements and create a task list to manage your own deliverables, including maintaining regular contact with direct stakeholders.
- Attend all training and other sessions organised by the centre of excellence, contributing through presentation of sessions or content aligned to your interests.
- Take responsibility for keeping your knowledge of Power platform up to date through self‑directed learning and independent exploration of new tools and functionality.
- A minimum of 18 months of experience with the technology stack.
- Holds a Microsoft associate‑level certification (or equivalent) in your area of specialism, e.g., PL‑200 for Power Platform.
- Expertise in controls, screens, collections and variable types.
- Demonstrates some expertise in Power
FX formulas and functions. - Experience integrating Power Apps with external services through custom connectors, REST APIs and web services.
- Creates efficient flows by making use of industry best practices.
- Applies advanced features such as error handling, parallel branches and conditions.
- Knows and uses HTTP connectors, Parse JSON and dynamic expressions.
- Maintains a high standard of technical delivery.
- Knowledge or experience of supporting tools and technologies such as Python, JSON, JavaScript, Plumsail or Lists is a benefit but not a requirement.
- Experience with Power BI is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to share knowledge and support the development of others.
- Confidence to ask questions, make suggestions and challenge the status quo.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English) and presentational skills.
- A commitment to working inclusively.

- Good interpersonal skills.
