A highly specialised cyber‑insurance startup/scale‑up is looking to hire three Security Consultants focused on incident response and security maturity.

The business is performing extremely well, has doubled revenue year‑on‑year, and is ready to double its headcount. Founders have proven experience growing startups to IPO. The firm is profitable and self‑funded.

As a security consultant you will work closely with clients to understand their security posture, conduct maturity assessments, improve incident response plans, run tabletop exercises, workshops and implement security controls. You will enhance risk‑management processes and ensure compliance. You will also build business continuity plans, present risk to executives and boards, and support clients during or after cyber breaches, rolling out control improvements.

This role offers rapid progression, a culture of dynamic collaboration, and a salary range of £60k–£100k plus bonus. It is an onsite position: five days in office, 7:30 am‑4:30 pm.

• Work closely with clients to assess their security posture.
• Conduct maturity assessments and improve incident response plans.
• Run tabletop exercises and workshops, and implement security controls.
• Enhance risk‑management processes and ensure security compliance.
• Develop business continuity plans and present risk to executives and board members.
• Support clients during or after cyber breaches and roll out control improvements.

• Experience working with companies during or after a cyber breach.
• Strong understanding of incident response and security maturity frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Capability to implement security controls, improve risk management and compliance.

• Salary £60k–£100k plus bonus.
• Full‑time, onsite (5 days in office).
• Working hours 7:30 am‑4:30 pm.
