Location: City of Westminster

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Architect to take responsibility for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance technology solutions. The successful applicant will have comprehensive expertise in Microsoft Azure services, Web API, Azure App Service, .NET Core, and Visual Studio. This role will drive innovation across devices, finance, and accounting, working within a hybrid work environment.

London Hybrid role with 2/3 times per week at the office

Experience

• The ideal candidate should possess Senior experience at an architect level, demonstrating strong proficiency in cloud architecture and solution design.

Domain Expertise

• Candidates should have experience and knowledge in the domains of devices, finance, and accounting.

Responsibilities Architecture & Design

• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions utilizing Azure App Service, Web API, and .NET Core.

• Define architecture patterns for microservices, API management, and integration with enterprise systems.

Cloud Services & Integration

• Utilize Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, and Azure Storage to develop robust applications.

• Ensure seamless integration with on-premises and third-party systems.

Security & Compliance

• Implement Azure Active Directory, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Key Vault for secure identity and data management.

• Ensure compliance with both regulatory and company standards.

Performance & Optimization

• Monitor and optimize application performance using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

Dev Ops & Automation

• Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions.

• Utilize containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate emerging Azure technologies and recommend enhancements.

• Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in cloud architecture.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including App Service, Functions, API Management, Storage, and Networking.

• Strong knowledge of .NET Core, Web API, C#, and Visual Studio.

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).

• Familiarity with security protocols, RBAC, and cloud governance frameworks.

Certifications Preferred

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate
