Lead DBA role s position focuses on planning and managing database capacity, patching, backups and disaster recovery, governance, and maintaining detailed technical documentation within the database management team.

• Plan and manage capacity of database management systems
• Schedule Database patching for production and lower environments
• Plan and strategize backup and DR processes
• Provide audit and governance requirements
• Maintaining detailed technical documentation
• Assist efforts to define database strategy, architecture, standards and procedures to preserve the integrity and security of company data resources
• Troubleshoot database problems and implement corrective measures as required
• Join our Database team as a Sr. DBA and design, implement, and maintain the systems that are instrumental to business function
• Develop your skills and expand your abilities by working with new systems and software

• Must have knowledge of IT concepts such as DB design, DB layout, DB structures, DB stored procedures, DB tables, DB optimization, TCP/IP, IT security concepts and practices
• Must be an expert in SQL Server along with a good understanding of Oracle and knowledge of Informix, DB2, Mongo
  
  DB, Dynamo
  
  DB and any other databases
• Must be a self-starter with a great attitude, not afraid to take the initiative, and work with little supervision
• Ability to analyze and write business and technical specifications and interact with IT and auditor teams
• A degree in information technology/computer information systems or related
• 6+ years of work experience in database support and management
• Clear understanding of IT Operations, Software Development and Release Management using Git Hub
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
• Git Hub, Service Now, Jira, MS Office, SQL, etc.
