Business Analyst (Associate) –

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with a genuine interest in exchange trading and a passion for delivering best‑in‑class solutions to our customers. The Business Analyst will be part of a cross‑business delivery team, helping us enhance and optimise our trading capabilities.

• Requirements gathering: work with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, focusing on pricing needs.
• Delivery planning: define, manage, and see through completion of plans with stakeholders.
• User story development: translate business requirements into clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria using BDD techniques.
• Backlog management: ensure a healthy backlog of ready stories aligned with business goals and priorities.
• Data analysis: analyse existing data sets, structures and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Stakeholder communication: facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, ensuring business needs are accurately translated.
• Solution design: support design and validation of solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with architecture.
• Documentation: maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, requirements, user stories and guides.
• Testing & validation: collaborate with engineers to define and execute test scenarios, ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
• Continuous learning: contribute to the ongoing development of the Business Analysis capability and community of practices.

Degree level education or equivalent relevant discipline.

• Business analyst experience, preferably in financial services or exchange environment.
• Knowledge of trading/clearing systems, commodities trading, and regulatory context of LME and LME Clear.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum; experience in an agile environment is essential.
• Familiarity with Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) practices and tools such as Cucumber or Gherkin.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office 365, and proficiency in python, SQL and data querying languages.
