Director of Analytics — Financial Crime

📍 London (hybrid)

We’re hiring a Senior Director of Analytics to lead financial crime analytics for a global, product‑led fintech operating at significant scale.

This is a strategic leadership role at the heart of how the company protects customers and the platform. You’ll own analytics across Fraud, AML, Screening and Risk, shaping the long‑term detection strategy and building systems that balance risk reduction, customer friction and operational cost.

• Leading and coaching multiple analytics managers across Fraud, AML, Screening and Risk
• Setting the multi‑year analytics and detection strategy for financial crime
• Improving precision / recall, reducing false positives, and increasing control effectiveness
• Partnering closely with Engineering, ML and Product on detection systems and platform architecture
• Strengthening the feedback loop between detection, operations and product teams
• Driving improvements in forecasting, understanding how product changes impact operational demand

This is not a monitoring or reporting role — it’s about designing systems that work at global scale.

The business has grown rapidly, and financial crime controls have scaled with it. The next phase is about quality, precision and sustainability — improving detection accuracy, tightening feedback loops, and evolving from tactical controls to robust, platform‑level systems that work globally.
