Project Role Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior QA Engineer with 1 to 1.5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through manual and automated testing, collaborating closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :- Execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand features and test requirements.
- Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Validate UI/UX consistency and responsiveness across devices.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.
- Ensure timely reporting of test results and communicate risks or blockers effectively.
- Learn and apply basic automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) under guidance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to QA best practices.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–1.5 years of hands‑on experience in software testing (manual or automation).
- Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Test Rail, Zephyr).
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast‑paced QA environment.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git Hub Actions.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
