Key Responsibilities Internal IT Operations- Set up, maintain, and provide hands‑on support for employee devices (Windows, macOS, and mobile).
- Manage users, licenses, security settings, and policies in Microsoft 365 (including Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, and Intune).
- Share the Employee & Customer onboarding/offboarding process: device provisioning, account creation, and permission management.
- Monitor and maintain IT security best practices (MFA, endpoint protection, device patching, etc.) aligned with compliance frameworks (Cyber Essentials, ISO
27001, SOC 2). - Support and contribute to the firm’s compliance initiatives, including audits and certification processes.
- Assist in evaluating, implementing, and optimising new IT tools, services, and automations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as a trusted technology partner to our executive leadership, legal teams, and Private Equity clients.
- Provide expert technical support for our AI platform, Ava, assisting both internal users and external clients in onboarding, troubleshooting, and maximising its functionality.
- Represent the IT function in high‑stakes client interactions, offering discreet, professional, and solution‑focused service.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on key projects, system rollouts, and operational improvements.
- Provide occasional out‑of‑hours support for critical incidents or to assist US‑based clients and portfolio companies.
- Support the firm’s growth by contributing to international IT operations as needed.
- You have the determination and adaptability to thrive in a high‑pressure, high‑tech environment.
- Strong hands‑on experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and security.
- Knowledge of device management tools (e.g. Intune, Kandji) and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and credibility to support executive and client stakeholders.
- A proactive, hands‑on mindset with strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPNs, firewalls, Wi‑Fi systems, remote access).
- Exposure to legal, private‑equity, or financial services environments.
- Experience supporting or administering AI‑based applications or workflow tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and compliance requirements.
- Experience with scripting (Power Shell) or IT automation tools.
- Knowledge of additional SaaS platforms (Slack, Hub Spot, etc.).
