Overview
Chancery Court Tax Chambers is seeking to appoint a Paralegal with minimum 3 years experience to join our expanding team in our leading boutique tax and wealth structuring chambers. Our clients include high and ultra-high net worth individuals and business owners, banks, trustees and trust companies, funds and entrepreneurs of all kind.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's most specialist and cutting-edge international tax and wealth structuring chambers. You will work as part of an elite team in all areas of Chambers work, including corporate and wealth structuring, tax, trust, partnerships, employment and contract law. You will gain exposure to complex high value frauds, commercial and tax disputes and will learn highly valuable transferable skills and knowledge.
You will have experience in handling large quantities of data, indexing, filing and managing accordingly, and in carrying out systematic tasks such as formatting and low level drafting, such as inserting parties details and signature blocks. You will be willing to assist senior members of the team with administrative tasks. You should be highly intelligent with excellent people skills, motivated, able to work on your own initiative, and have excellent analytical and communication skills.
It is not required to have tax law knowledge to start, but you should have a very good knowledge of key legal concepts such as trust and contract law to a very high undergraduate standard, and be a fast learner capable of retaining information.

Pay, after completion of probation, is between £33,000 - £42,000 (depending on performance). We also operate a bonus system.

- Assist senior team members with administrative tasks.
- Contribute to work across areas including corporate and wealth structuring, tax, trust, partnerships, employment and contract law.
- Gain exposure to complex high value frauds, commercial and tax disputes.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a law firm or chambers role.
- Very good knowledge of key legal concepts such as trust and contract law to a high undergraduate standard; fast learner with ability to retain information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong memory, and ability to work on own initiative.
- Will not be required to have tax law knowledge to start.
