This Technical Manager’s role offers an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading residential developers. They are an expanding firm that are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to help deliver their ambitious growth plans. Known for producing high-quality schemes in both the private and affordable housing sectors with project values from £50m – £500m. We are looking for a Technical Manager to join their expanding team to lead a high end luxury, new build RC frame residential project based in Central London.
You will be working closely with the Technical Team, the Technical Manager will be empowered to take responsibility for progressing all design required by the Production team and other departments, delivering fully detailed construction packages and Building Regulation approval.
Key Duties
* Manage the Technical + Design process of the project from planning consent to practical completion.
* Appoint & manage design consultants to ensure that the design is delivered within the development programme, on budget and to a high standard.
* Manage the technical team & liaising other departments on various issues
* Manage stakeholder’s & client expectations.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
* Comprehensive experience in technical management for a residential developer working on high-rise, mixed-use complex schemes.
* Experience of working on High-Risk Building projects.
* A sound understanding of current building regs and a knowledge of the financial, legal + planning processes.
* Up-to-date knowledge of current industry-wide issues including proposed legislation and regulatory changes.
* Effectively leading a team and your own project.
* Degree level education in construction or relevant discipline
