Are you looking to join a growing organisation at the forefront of the UK’s energy infrastructure transition? Our client develops and manages energy infrastructure assets and is seeking a dynamic Contract Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of energy systems on behalf of their clients.

About the Role

As a Contract Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial and contractual performance of energy infrastructure assets, ensuring best-in-class service delivery and value for clients. You will work across procurement, contract management, and financial analysis, acting as a key commercial interface between suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day contract management for energy infrastructure assets, including performance monitoring, compliance, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and coordinate procurement activities for new and existing service contracts, including ESCO contracts.
  • Undertake financial reviews, analyse commercial performance, and report on risk, opportunities, and optimisation strategies.
  • Support strategic decision-making with robust commercial and contractual insights.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulatory frameworks, including Metering & Billing Regulations and wider industry standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of operational and project objectives.
About You
  • Proven experience managing contracts within the energy sector— district heating experience highly desirable .
  • Strong understanding of ESCO procurement and contract management.
  • Solid commercial acumen with experience conducting financial analysis and performance reviews.
  • Familiarity with UK energy regulations, particularly Metering & Billing Regulations and other industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Able to work proactively, independently, and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
