Workshop Assembler

Overview

Our client, a specialist equipment brand, have an urgent requirement for a permanent Workshop Assembler to join their team based in East London.

• Assembling a wide range of specialist equipment from start to finish, ensuring full functionality and compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Interpreting and applying mechanical and electrical drawings and instructions with precision, supported by in-house training where necessary.
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Conducting tests and adjustments of assembled products to ensure proper operation and adherence to company specifications.
• Adhering to strict health and safety procedures.
• Identifying and reporting faults or discrepancies in materials, components or instructions to the Workshop Supervisor.
• Collaborating effectively with team members.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical/electronic drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow procedures.
• Good record keeping and documentation practices.
• Proven experience in mechanical or electrical assembly.
• Experience in using hand tools and power tools.
• Practical use of basic electrical test equipment.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
