Senior Brand PR and Communications Manager - Crufts

Location: London & Hybrid (2 days a week)
Department: Revenue & Brand
Reports to: Head of Crufts (Revenue & Brand)
Salary: Competitive - Band 6

Are you a bold brand storyteller with a passion for dogs and lifestyle media? Crufts is on a mission to evolve from a four-day event into an "always-on" destination brand for dog lovers across the UK-and we're looking for a visionary Senior Brand PR & Communications Manager to lead the charge.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK's most iconic brands, transforming Crufts into a household name that resonates with every dog owner, every day of the year.

You'll be the driving force behind Crufts' brand transformation - developing and delivering integrated PR and communications strategies that:

• Position Crufts as a lifestyle brand beyond the event
• Lead high-impact campaigns across TV, radio, print, and digital
• Build thought leadership and expand media relationships
• Create compelling narratives that attract new audiences
• Manage PR for the annual Crufts event, including press briefings and live support
• Develop influencer and celebrity strategies to boost engagement
• Align storytelling with marketing goals across acquisition, retention, and conversion

• Leading omnichannel PR campaigns and digital-first executions
• Acting as spokesperson and media contact for high-profile opportunities
• Creating communication toolkits and experiential activations
• Collaborating with marketing, sponsors, and agencies for integrated delivery
• Tracking performance against OKRs and reporting to senior leadership

• 8+ years in strategic communications, PR, and media relations
• Proven experience repositioning established brands
• Strong editorial and content creation skills across digital platforms
• Hands-on experience with social media and omnichannel campaigns
• A network of media contacts and influencer relationships
• CIPR/PRCA qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or PR (Desirable)
• Experience in the pet industry or lifestyle sectors (Desirable)
• Master's degree in a relevant field (Desirable)
• Background in experiential PR and celebrity engagement (Desirable)
