Role Overview
As our Press Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to communicate Reform UK’s message to the public. You’ll be part of a team creating powerful articles, press releases, and social media content, along with innovative advertising campaigns that capture attention, energise our supporters, and clearly lay out our vision for the future.

We are looking for applicants that are Reform UK members and believe in what we stand for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Written Output:Write, edit, and distribute high-quality articles, press releases, and statements that reflect the party’s positions and priorities.
  • Social Media Management:Develop and post engaging content for our social media platforms, ensuring our messaging remains consistent and impactful.
  • Creative Marketing:Create and and develop advertisements and campaigns that promote our values and policies across multiple channels.
  • Media Relations:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure coverage and manage inquiries.
  • Strategy Development:Work with leadership to craft and execute our short and long term goals.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:Track media coverage and public sentiment to provide actionable insights and adapt messaging as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in writing, communications, public relations, or journalism, ideally in a political or campaign environment.
  • Writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and a flair for persuasive communication..
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative advertising and marketing materials.
  • A strong commitment to the values and mission of Reform UK.
