Fundraise for East London Waterworks Park to create and shape natural swimming ponds, ecological habitats and community gardens. You will lead fundraising projects that explore how diverse professionals collaborate to shape community infrastructure, directly contributing to the development of a park that reflects the needs and desires of the local community.

Without funding we won’t be able to make it happen. Your input will help craft experiences that inspire, educate, and engage stakeholders and the public, driving support for the park’s mission and ensuring its long-term sustainability.

We’re seeking dynamic digital fundraisers to help build a sustainable online income stream and expand our digital fundraising capabilities. If you’re passionate about leveraging digital tools to drive social impact and have experience (or a strong desire to learn) in online fundraising, we want to hear from you. Our roles are flexible and we value radical imagination, peace with nature, and courageous inclusiveness.

• Digital Fundraising Strategy Development
  • Collaborate with fundraising and communications teams to create and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging digital fundraising trends and technologies.
  • Develop and execute online fundraising campaigns across various platforms.
• Online Offer Development
  • Create and optimise online donation platforms and giving experiences.
  • Develop engaging online content to inspire and motivate donors.
  • Explore and implement innovative online fundraising methods.
• Digital Marketing and Engagement
  • Utilise social media, email marketing, and other digital channels to reach and engage potential donors.
  • Analyse digital fundraising data and metrics to optimise campaign performance.
  • Build and nurture online donor relationships.

East London Waterworks Park is working to acquire a 14-acre site and transform it into a biodiversity-rich community-owned park with free access natural swimming ponds and forest schools. The project uses an environment-first, community-led approach to land ownership to enable nature and people to thrive together.

We have raised substantial funding in the past (e.g., over half a million pounds through Crowdfunder) and are seeking to create a sustainable medium-term online income stream. The Fundraising Circle currently meets fortnightly on Google Meet and volunteers may contribute one-off or ongoing strategic advice and support.
