Welcome to Cracking Kennington! This fast growing first opinion two vet practice is looking for a second full-time RVN to join the ever-growing team!

About your new role

In the heart of one of London’s best kept secret neighbourhoods in South London is our Kennington practice that has gone from strength to strength over the years, and we are looking for an additional RVN to help support our busy GP caseload, while our senior vet is a keen surgeon.

Kennington are looking for an RVN who can multitask and communicate efficiently, as the practice spans over 2 floors…you will definitely get your daily steps in here!

Work arrangement

This is a full-time 4‑day week position, which includes a 1:4 branch Saturday and a 1:10 Sunday rotation at Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon, plus 1 bank holiday per year in Stone Lion Hospital. There are no on‑call requirements for this role.

As part of your induction, you will spend a day with the hospital team, so you are ready for your first Sunday shift. You will be fully supported by a senior vet, associate vet, senior RVN, trainee nurses, and a regional manager. Your clients and patients are supported by Stone Lion 24‑hour Hospital who provide integral OOH support when Kennington is closed, or if they need to be referred for advanced treatment.

For any cricket fans out there (the sport not the insect) the practice is a 10‑minute walk from The Oval, and an 8‑minute walk from Kennington Underground station, which is on the Northern line.

What we offer you

Our RVN salary band is £32,000 to £35,000 (FTE) depending on experience, with room for growth within the role.
