Position: Veterinary Surgeon - close-knit, family-like team

Are you a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and progressive environment? Nestled in charming East London, this independent and friendly practice is seeking a skilled professional to join their compassionate team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a sole charge setting and is passionate about providing a calm, fear‑free experience for both patients and clients.

The practice boasts state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, otoscopy, ultrasound with live specialist guidance, digital X‑ray (including dental), and a newly refurbished wellness ward. The team is committed to continuous improvement and education, offering a nurturing environment where both staff and client knowledge is a priority. The practice also runs its own out‑of‑hours service and is open on Saturday mornings for emergency consultations.

This role offers a flexible working schedule, with the option of a 4 or 5‑day working week. The successful candidate will benefit from a generous £1,500 CPD allowance per year, with opportunities for further certification to enhance their expertise. Additionally, the practice covers VDS and RCVS fees annually, ensuring you have the support you need to thrive. Other benefits include a company pension, store discount scheme, private healthcare, 33 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), bereavement leave, free parking, gym membership, and accommodation if required.

The salary ranges from £45,000 to £75,000 per year, with the potential for additional yearly bonuses.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of veterinary experience and hold RCVS membership. If you are ready to take the next step in your career and join a team that values growth, education, and a fear‑free approach to veterinary care, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
