Grounds Maintenance Operative

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well‑maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Grounds Maintenance teams who are based in the Croydon area.

• Mowing, edging, and maintaining lawns to keep them neat and healthy.
• Trimming and shaping hedges, shrubs and bushes to promote growth and improve appearance.
• Removing weeds from flower beds, pathways and other landscaped areas to prevent overgrowth.
• Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants as well as preparing soil and beds.
• Clearing debris, litter picking, sweeping pathways, and maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas.
• Safely operating machinery such as mowers, strimmer and leaf blowers, along with maintaining tools and equipment.
• Driving company vehicles to transport equipment and access multiple sites as required.
• Performing seasonal duties like leaf clearing, frost protection, or preparing sites for different weather conditions.
• Hours:
  
  7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Full driving licence
• Experience in using gardening power tools
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
