Position Summary
We are seeking a Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Midland Veterinary Surgery in Leyton. Your duties will include working in theatre, nurse consults, medical nursing (kennels), and assisting the Head Nurse and vets. Clinical Coach experience is desirable, and reception knowledge will be required.
Working HoursThis is a full‑time position (40 hours per week) Monday – Friday, with a weekend rota of 1:4 Saturdays from 8:00am to 2:30pm. The earliest shift start is 7:45am and the latest finish is 7:30pm. There is no Sunday work and currently no out‑of‑hours. We are happy to discuss part‑time hours and flexible working requests.
Practice OverviewOur RCVS‑accredited SA practice in Leyton, East London, was established in the 1970s. We are fully equipped with a laboratory suite, theatre, radiography, dental X‑ray, and three consulting rooms. We also have a visiting ultrasonographer and a certificate‑holder surgeon to manage more complex cases.
TeamOur dedicated team comprises RVNs, two care assistants, five vets (including two part‑time Clinical Directors), a reception team, and the Practice Manager. Together we deliver the best possible general practice veterinary care and service to patients and clients.
Qualifications & ExperienceWe are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic RVN who is already qualified. Ideally you will have experience with surgery and nurse consultations. Reception knowledge is essential, and Clinical Coach experience will be an advantage.
