Location: City of Westminster

As we expand our operations, we are establishing the Reform UK Research Department (RRD) – the party's nerve centre and intellectual engine. The RRD will provide cutting-edge research, analysis, and support to our leader, communications, policy and campaign teams, enabling rapid crisis management and robust scrutiny.

We are seeking talented Research Analysts to join our Research Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to party. You will play a key role in producing high-quality briefings, investigations and materials that continue to drive our party's agenda forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 24/7 wraparound support for the Party Leader, MPs and senior figures, including daily briefings, specialist reports, emergency responses and speech narratives.
  • Collaborate with press and communications teams to produce daily press briefings, lines to take, rebuttals for our elected officials, and candidates, as well as assisting with op-eds.
  • Conduct longer-term research, including maintaining a political events grid, submitting FOI requests, undertaking investigations and performing crucial opposition research.
  • Provide sign-off processes to ensure all party materials from press, communications and policy departments are resilient and watertight.
  • Support coordination efforts to align departments, spokespeople and written outputs, ensuring consistency across the party.
  • Assist with campaign research, preparing candidates for debates, public appearances, leaflets, and direct mails.
  • Contribute to training initiatives, building capacity through candidate events and internal development.
  • Work with AI tools to enhance efficiency in research and analysis tasks.
  • Engage in administrative support for policy and research working groups, including coordination with experts, think tanks, campaign groups, and NGOs.
  • A degree in Politics, Economics, Law, History, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in political research, policy analysis, or a similar role, ideally within a political party, think tank, or research organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle specialist areas such as economics, immigration, healthcare, or foreign policy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing clear, concise briefings and reports under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with research tools, including AI applications, databases and data analysis software.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings, including out-of-hours shifts.
  • A passion for Reform UK's values and a commitment to driving political change.
  • High levels of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, opposition research, or investigative work.
  • Knowledge of media and communications strategies in a political context
