Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 (No evenings or weekends for at least the first 6 months)

We are excited to launch our new flagship café in Angel, London, and are seeking an experienced Head Barista to lead the day-to-day operations of our coffee team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and grow a vibrant new venue, forming a foundation for future openings across London and beyond.

• Supervise the day-to-day running of our barista team set within an 80-cover café/coffee shop, ensuring smooth operations.
• Lead, train, and develop your curated team of coffee specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and customer focus.
• Oversee coffee station opening and closing duties, stock management, deliveries, and daily cleaning.
• Drive upselling, build rapport within the local community, and promote brand awareness.
• Test new products, specials, and seasonal lines, providing feedback and insights to the Cafe Manager.
• Ensure a commitment to delivering a quality-driven product offering.
• Provide exceptional barista service, ensuring consistent coffee quality and presentation.
• Keep a clean, clear, and organised workstation for guests and team alike.
• Ensure health and safety compliance (allergens, hygiene and expiry dates).

• Extensive Head Barista experience, with a passion for delivering excellent coffee and a commitment to quality.
• Strong passion for New Zealand’s ethos and culture, with an affinity for bringing the brand to life.
• Considerable knowledge of latte art, milk steaming, and coffee extraction.
• Comprehensive knowledge of coffee machines, cleaning expectations, and general tools and equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven team leader experience, able to lead with confidence and enthusiasm, to inspire and guide your team.
• Hands‑on style, flexible and proactive in all aspects of operations from floor to counter.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards consistently.
