Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Sommelier to join our team at Pavyllon London, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Mayfair. Discover Pavyllon London, blending culinary artistry with the relaxed elegance of a neighborhood restaurant. Every dish reflects innovation and passion, with front-row access to a dynamic open kitchen.
Your RoleAs our Sommelier, you will work closely with the Head Sommelier to deliver an engaging and elevated wine experience for our guests. You will help bring a warm, welcoming atmosphere to life each day.
What You Will Do- Support the wine service across lunch and dinner, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience
- Assist with wine pairings and recommendations, tailored to individual guest preferences
- Maintain and update the wine list in collaboration with the Head Sommelier
- Contribute to staff training and development around wine knowledge
- Ensure proper storage, stock rotation and inventory of wine
- Engage with guests to share your passion and knowledge of wine in an approachable and professional manner
- Previous experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of international wines and food pairings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under pressure
- WSET qualifications or equivalent
- The right to work in the UK is required
- £42,000 package made of salary and F&B service charge
- Up to 5% of your salary per annum as a bonus
