Business Development, Sales Representative
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling subscriptions and other online advertising products. Your client base will range from small independent agents up to our largest and most sophisticated customers including global property owners and fund managers, global brokerage businesses, hedge funds, private equity firms, real estate investment trusts and family offices. You will focus predominantly on new business however, you will also grow your revenue from accounts once you have won them.
You will be given a territory inheriting responsibility for account management of a limited number of existing clients from day one.

- Consultative sales approach to gain a thorough understanding of your clients and their needs.
- Expert knowledge of Loop Net’s marketing solutions – the leading online commercial property marketplace in the UK.
- Complete ownership of the full sales cycle including prospecting, demonstrating, closing, onboarding, training and renewing accounts.
- Conduct in‑person client and prospect product demonstrations.
- Provide valuable insight to all participants in the commercial property market, including Surveyors, Owners, Investors, Lenders, Local Authorities and Service Providers.
- Represent CoStar Group by hosting and attending industry events and networking with property professionals in your market.
- Demonstrate client growth over the medium and long term, providing excellent service and comfort with sales cycles that can run 3‑12 months+.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and objection handling skills with confidence and patience to make complex proposals.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to metrics in an intelligent, effective manner.
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Consultative selling style with account management techniques to grow accounts over time; love building relationships with clients and helping them problem‑solve.
- Knowledge of commercial real‑estate or asset management is advantageous; otherwise a desire to learn and a genuine interest in market trends.
- Property portal or marketplace experience would also be advantageous.
- Ability to navigate large organisations – identify decision‑makers, influencers, blockers and align them.
- Full driving licence and ability to travel to the United States for 3 weeks of training.
- Valid driver’s licence and satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
