Job Title: Retail Security Officer

We are currently recruiting a professional and proactive Retail Security Officer to join our team at a busy retail premises in Stratford (E15). You will play a key role in safeguarding store assets, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of customers and staff at all times.

This part-time role offers 19 hours per week, ideal for candidates seeking flexible work in a well-supported retail security environment.

• Provide a strong and visible security presence on the shop floor
• Prevent theft, stock loss, and antisocial behaviour through proactive monitoring and intervention
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the premises
• Liaise with store management and emergency services when required
• Accurately record and report all security incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security posture

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence (Required)
• Previous experience in a retail or supermarket security role (preferred)
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
• Good understanding of diversity and customer care in a multicultural environment
