Hub Worker – Camden, London Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Hub Worker to join the Routes off The Street (RTS) Hub in Camden.
Pay Rate: £23 Ltd per hour
Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract:
Temporary (3 months) with potential for extension

Role Overview The RTS Hub provides a safe space for assessments and interventions away from the street, supporting behaviour change and positive outcomes for individuals involved in street-based lifestyles. The Hub team works closely with outreach and in-reach partners to engage individuals with services that improve health, wellbeing, social inclusion, and safe reconnection.
Key Responsibilities
Provide assessment, care planning, and assertive, time-limited interventions to support informed choices.
Use motivational interviewing and psychologically informed approaches to engage individuals with services and agencies.
Deliver bespoke support for individuals without a Camden connection or with no recourse to public funds.
Work with key partners to deliver a multi-service offer aimed at sustainable outcomes for rough sleepers.
Deliver comprehensive assessments, structured joint support planning, and tailored interventions.
Facilitate rapid access to specialist in-reach and external services, including those supporting individuals with no local connection.
Work with Camden’s Adult Pathway and Housing Options service to secure appropriate accommodation for rough sleepers with local connection.
Support immediate needs such as access to showers, food, drinks, laundry facilities, and clothing.
Hold a caseload and act as Care Coordinator, supporting individuals to navigate systems for housing, benefits, and treatment.
Provide harm reduction advice and motivational interventions for substance misuse, and facilitate pathways into treatment services.
Deliver group sessions alongside in-reach partners for individuals at different stages of progression.
Requirements
Previous experience in homelessness services or outreach work
Strong engagement and communication skills
Ability to work within a multi-agency team
Knowledge of safeguarding and psychologically informed approaches
