Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy. We deliver an integrated hardware and software smart‑grid platform for the residential EV charging market, partnering with brands such as VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and others.

We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help build the next generation of Ohme’s mobile experience—a seamless bridge between customers, chargers, and the energy grid. You’ll provide technical leadership, collaborate with backend, product, and hardware teams, and own critical app components.

• Design, develop, and maintain Ohme’s iOS app using Swift and Swift UI.
• Drive adoption of robust architectural patterns such as MVVM to ensure modularity and testability.
• Integrate with backend services via RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow across the system.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Bitrise, ensuring reliable, automated builds and deployments.
• Incorporate analytics, messaging, and localisation tools (e.g. Firebase, Customer.io, Crowdin) to enhance user engagement and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including design, product, QA, and firmware to deliver new features end‑to‑end.
• Mentor and motivate other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production‑grade iOS applications.
• Expertise in Swift, Swift
  
  UI, and Xcode, with a deep understanding of Apple’s ecosystem and guidelines.
• Strong grasp of MVVM and other software design patterns.
• Solid understanding of app localisation and internationalisation best practices.
• Passionate about crafting intuitive, elegant, and performant user interfaces.
• Proactive, collaborative, and energized by solving complex problems in a fast‑moving environment.
• Skilled in implementing CI/CD workflows (Bitrise).
• Comfortable integrating and managing third‑party SDKs (Firebase, Customer.io, localisation frameworks).
• Nice to have: experience with Bluetooth (BLE).
