Description

White Swan Data is a small but rapidly growing team of mathematicians, data scientists and software engineers who are constantly striving to refine world class probability models while also researching and deploying new ones. Our work bridges three domains, each challenging in its own right - iGaming, quantitative research and software development.

We are always on the look-out for talented python developers to join our team. As a member of our development team, you will be working on a variety of different projects and help drive our continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product owners, business managers and other developers to understand user requirements and develop high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop using the most suitable language with a bias to Python.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in python development and apply them to improve the performance and usability of our web applications.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Commercial development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and related libraries/frameworks.
  • Experience with web scraping techniques and tools.
  • Demonstrably strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
