Senior Fullstack Engineer; React & Java

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to help us build secure, scalable and forward-thinking products that make board-level decision making smarter, faster and more effective.

This is a hands‑on role where you will work across our React frontend and Java backend to deliver high quality projects  will guide the technical direction of our products, mentor other developers and help shape the systems that power our platform. You will be at the centre of delivering AI‑powered features, internal tools and critical services that require reliability and performance.

Big things

• Deliver key product features using React and Java with a focus on performance, security and scale
• Lead engineering work on projects ranging from AI integration using Vertex AI and the Agent Development Kit to critical internal systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape how we build and maintain scalable, maintainable services
• Drive delivery standards and technical quality across the team
• Act as a mentor to other developers, supporting their learning and growth

And the smaller but still important things

• Develop RESTful APIs and scalable backend services using Spring Boot
• Implement and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces
• Optimise SQL queries and database structures
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Contribute to our documentation, standards and development processes

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot and related frameworks
• Deep understanding of API design, integration and security
• Experience working with relational databases such as Postgre
  
  SQL or MySQL
• High level of proficiency with React and modern JavaScript or Type Script
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library and JUnit
• Experience designing, delivering and maintaining complex software systems
• Comfort translating specifications into actionable deliverables
• Track record of mentoring or coaching developers
• Ability to balance speed with technical rigour and code quality

• Familiarity with distributed systems or microservice architecture
• Experience working with No

• Exposure to tools such as Kafka, Redis or Pub Sub
• Knowledge of state management libraries like Zustand or Redux
• Comfort with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Experience in Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
• Interest or experience in AI or data‑heavy feature development
• Working knowledge of Python
