Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Location: London / Hybrid (twice a month in office)

Salary: Up to £80,000 + benefits

They are hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to take ownership of their React Native applications and help shape the future of mobile across the business.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll :

• Own technical direction and architectural decisions for mobile
• Lead the build of a brand‑new greenfield mobile app (iOS & Android)
• Raise engineering standards around performance, testing, and reliability
• Work closely with product, backend, and design teams to ship impactful features
• Mentor engineers and help grow a mobile team around you over time

You’ll be joining at a key moment, with a packed roadmap and a flagship product moving into MVP and customer rollout this year.

• A modern React Native / Type Script mobile application used by operational teams in the field
• Greenfield development for a new risk‑management product

• 4+ years’ experience building production‑grade mobile applications
• Strong React Native and Type Script experience
• Solid understanding of mobile performance, security, and best practices
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining high code quality
  
  Comfortable working across the stack and collaborating with backend teams

• Natural technical leader who mentors and raises the bar
• Pragmatic, product‑focused, and comfortable making trade‑offs
• Strong communicator who works well with engineers, product, and stakeholders
• Collaborative, transparent, and easy to work with
