Our client has an opportunity available for a Mast Inspector.
Requirements:
- N6 in Civil or Structural Engineering, Level 1 and Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection.
- Matric certificate.
- Valid South African driver’s license.
- 2 years’ experience within the civil or structural environment.
- Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection and Liquid Penetrant Inspection training.
- Knowledge of the OHS Act.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct effective route planning for scheduled mast inspections.
- Update safety files monthly or weekly as per the OHS Act.
- Conduct regularly monitoring of the performance of the Assistant and provide required support and feedback.
- Conduct mast inspections on scheduled masts including MPI at the base of the mast. Prepare accurate reports based on the findings during the mast inspection.
- Arrange accommodation in due time.
