Structural Engineering Lead

Technical Tasks, Competencies & Experience :
Technically strong, understand first principle calculations, execute / oversee designs and have attention to detail.

Understand BOQs and how to populate BOQsBe able to do a project schedule, understand the interconnectivity of the various activities and maintain the schedule for structural works.

Must have experience in most of the following :
Apply the loading code, advantageous to have experience in crane and seismic loading.

Structural steel design, including design of steel connections

Reinforced concrete design

Check drawings and bending schedules

Masonry design

Timber design

Behavioural Competencies :
Must be able to work autonomously

Ability to mentor a young team

Take ownership of the structures team Communicate with senior management regarding progress

Take initiative and identify areas where we as a structure team can improve

Lead by example.
