CNC setter & operator

Our client is a well established international company in the defense industry and is looking for a CNC operator and setter.

Job Title: CNC Operator and Setter (milling and turning)
Location: Hennopspark, Centurion
Salary: Market related
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non-Negotiable Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Matric certificate or equivalent.

• Experience with HAAS and FANUC systems.

• Milling and turning machine experience.

Beneficial Requirements:

• Technical qualification in machining/manufacturing.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Knowledge of CNC programming.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and set CNC machines (HAAS and FANUC).

• Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality components.

• Perform routine checks, measurements, and inspections on finished products.

• Monitor tool wear and make adjustments where necessary.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Work according to production schedules and deadlines.

• Report any machine or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
