Overview
Our client is in search of an experienced and talented Senior Java Developer to join their team in their Centurion offices.
Senior Java Developer responsibilities include gathering system and user requirements, building Java modules and testing features before release. If you have hands-on experience developing software with agile methodologies and are ready to lead our junior developers, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications.
Responsibilities
Identify and analyze user requirementsPrioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycleDevelop Java EE applicationsWrite well-designed, efficient codeReview, test and debug team members’ codeDesign database architectureSchedule product releases with internal teamsDocument development phasesEnsure our applications are secure and up-to-dateRequirements:
Java EE (Not Spring)Git LabJenkinsAnsibleLinux/AIXRESTBack End DevelopmentObject Orientated development and designExperience and Qualifications:
5-7 years’ intermediate/senior java development experience using Java EE on Unix based platforms.Relevant IT qualification.Relevant post graduate IT qualification.Java
Skills:
5 years Software Development experience in a distributed computing environment using Java EE.Solid (Java EE) back-end development experience.Advanced understanding and everyday use of OO principles such as inheritance, interfaces, abstract classes, etc.Good systems and code design skills including good documentations skills where necessary.Understanding and experience with micro-services.Strong knowledge of REST API designs.Strong knowledge with CI/CD principles.Hire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment.
