Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Incident Commander to oversee and coordinate the response to major incidents. This position provides regional support of the Global Incident Management function, delivering continuous service for over 850 applications. The successful candidate will partner with global team members to ensure seamless delivery of incident management processes and must be prepared to work a hybrid schedule of at least three days per week on-site, with occasional weekend coverage rotation.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage high-severity incidents by leading triage efforts, hosting bridge calls, and documenting detailed timelines.
* Drive incidents to resolution in a timely manner to minimize overall business impact.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to understand impacts, perform forensics, categorize issues, and mitigate incidents.
* Ensure all technical personnel understand their roles during incidents and remain accountable for completing allocated actions.
* Provide regular, structured updates regarding incident status and resolution progress to business and technology stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
*
* Education:

** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
*
* Experience:

** Demonstrated experience in a Major Incident Management role within a complex technology environment. Proven capability in leading real-time triage efforts and managing escalation processes under pressure.
** Technical

Skills:

** Strong technical background in troubleshooting complex systems, Application Incident Management, Production Incident Management, and ITIL Certification.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working within a large enterprise IT infrastructure.
* Knowledge of payments and treasury cash management systems.
* Familiarity with postmortem processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and change management policies.
