HGV Class 1 Driver – Lutterworth, Leicestershire People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and excellent progression opportunities. Shifts
• Monday to Sunday – start times between 01:00 – 10:00
• Monday to Sunday – start times between 15:00 – 22:00

• Basic: £17.00 per hour
• Nights: £18.00 per hour
• Saturday: £20.00 per hour
• Sunday: £22.00 per hour Day-to-Day Duties
• RDC work – some handball may be required depending on destination (curtain-sider)
• Operating and driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are correctly secured
• Adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues
• Assisting with loading and unloading as required Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE licence
• No previous experience required driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience
• Experience driving commercial vehicles
• Previous multi-drop experience Training Provided
• Driver assessment required
