HoursFull time, Permanent. 40 hours per week.
Wages$40,000 - $60,000 salary per year + commissions & benefits (negotiable based on experience)
APPLICABLE SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS- Strong customer service and phone skills required.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to use multiple programs simultaneously.
- Must be reliable and show initiative.
- Professional personal presentation.
- Organized, capable of multitasking, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license.
- Possess technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs.
- Previous automotive appraiser experience is not necessary but considered a strong asset. Additional training will be provided.
- Thorough knowledge of Mitchell and Audatex electronic imaging/estimating systems is considered a strong asset but not necessary.
- Inspect vehicles to assess collision damage and determine repair needs, costs, and timelines.
- Prepare detailed appraisals and cost estimates, including written reports and documentation.
- Submit and follow up on supplement requests with insurance companies, including required photos, invoices, and estimates.
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance companies and adjusters to support claims processing.
- Plan and coordinate repair work with technicians, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
- Order required parts and materials for repairs.
- Review repair invoices and ensure they align with estimates and insurance approvals.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining the repair process, answering inquiries, and maintaining clear communication.
- Oversee final repairs to confirm quality, appearance, and compliance with industry standards.
