** Project Manager Wright Tree Service, a business unit of Wright Canada Holdings, provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across North America.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Assign, instruct, and direct tree trimmers, equipment operators and ground workers.
* Trim and/or removes trees by climbing with the aid of a ladder, safety belt, climbing line, powered trimmer lift truck, or work from the ground using saws/pruners.
* Removal or trimming of trees and brush encroaching onto utility or transportation rights of ways.
* Assume responsibility for the inspection and proper working conditions of tools, trucks, and other work equipment.
* Ensure on-the-job safety practices are followed by all crew members.
* Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.  
** Experience and Knowledge Expectations:
*** Certified Utility Arborist (CUA or UA) or Utility Tree Trimmer (UTT), or ability to challenge exam.
* Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits and correct arboriculture techniques for trimming, pruning, repairing, maintaining and removing.
* Valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
* Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.
* Must adhere to the Company’s Drug and Alcohol policy.
