This is a hands-on physically active role where your work directly supports national defence. Its a great opportunity to build a meaningful career in defence aerospace and engineering while developing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Issuing and receiving equipment maintaining supplies and supporting Combat Engineers during training
• Transporting erecting and dismantling equipment for exercises
• Supporting resource management services such as snow and ice clearance damage control and porterage
• Performing technical maintenance and preparing for audits and inspections
• Carrying out sentry duties and watermanship safety tasks

Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting bending using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

This role is full time 37 hours per week and can be based at either our Minley or Chatham sites.

Set working times :
Monday to Thursday 08 : 0016 : 30 and Friday 08 : 0016 : 00. Any work outside of these hours is considered overtime and is paid at enhanced rates.

• Ability to swim
• Experience with manual handling
• A UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) clearance for this role.
