Senior Treasury Analyst
LocationBradford, Chatham or Petersfield (may travel occasionally to our other offices)
Working PatternHybrid; 1 to 2 days per week in office.

Responsibilities- Governance & Control:
Support the establishment of a governance framework for maintaining Treasury policies and procedures, including creating and maintaining a monitoring register. - Risk Management:
Establish a register and directory for operational risk assessments and controls in Treasury. - Reporting:
Prepare reports on Treasury counter party exposures to internal limits, ensuring compliance and reporting any breaches. - Collateral Management:
Ensure collateral margin calls are reconciled and tracked through to settlement, resolving any disputes within the contracted timeframe. - System Management:
Assist with the ongoing management and setup of the Treasury Management System and other related systems.
- Data Analysis:
Responsible for data analysis, data use, and production of reports within the team. - Regulatory Knowledge:
Understanding of liquidity, funding, and capital requirements for banks, and knowledge of forthcoming regulatory changes. - Market Understanding:
Knowledge of wholesale funding markets and associated regulations is advantageous. - Treasury
Experience:
Experience in a financial Treasury environment, including Middle or Back Offices. - Communication:
Good communication skills and the ability to build trust and influence at senior management levels. - Financial Knowledge:
Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and debt instruments. - Accounting Principles:
Good understanding of accounting principles. - Time Management:
Excellent time management and organisational abilities. - Stakeholder Influence:
Ability to influence stakeholders effectively. - Project Management:
Strong project management skills, including decision-making, prioritisation, organisation, and evaluative skills. - Process Improvement:
Proven track record of developing and delivering process improvements.
- Up to 30‑minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team.
- Up to 1‑hour virtual interview with the hiring manager.
- Final interview with the hiring team.
