Registered Manager

Position: Registered Manager (Permanent)
I am recruiting on behalf of a respected client who is opening a new Residential Children’s Home in Kent. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager with a strong track record in leading children’s homes and successfully registering new services with Ofsted.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader who wants to build a high-quality home from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

* Registering a brand-new Children’s Home with Ofsted.

* Leading the operational setup and ongoing management of the home.

* Recruiting, supervising and developing the staff team.

* Ensuring full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

* Maintaining excellent safeguarding standards and ensuring positive outcomes for young people.

* Managing budgets, resources, audits and policies.

* Creating a safe, nurturing, child-focused environment.

Requirements

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

* Proven experience registering a new service with Ofsted (essential).

* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations and care standards.

* Experience managing staff within a residential childcare setting.

* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

* Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people.
