Role Overview
Currys, Medway – Permanent, Part‑Time Retail Sales Colleague. 8‑15 hours per week with flexibility to work additional hours. £12.21
* per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour (
* rising to £12.51 after successful completion of probation). The role is based in the Chatham store and is open to applicants who can work across our opening hours, which generally include Saturdays and Sundays between 9am and 8pm.
The successful candidate will be part of an energetic, customer‑focused team that helps customers discover how technology can enhance their lives. All new colleagues attend a 2‑3 day induction or virtual training, followed by supplier training and product demos to build confidence in selling, serving and supporting customers.
Responsibilities- Ask the right questions to match customers with products.
- Make every customer interaction memorable.
- Offer support services such as delivery, installation, recycling and payment options.
- Contribute to the overall sales performance of the store.
- Work across different departments and product ranges.
- Support store operations by completing operational tasks.
- Approachable and friendly.
- Keen to learn about the latest technology.
- Comfortable achieving personal sales, service and customer experience targets.
- Strong team player, confident working across all parts of the store and winning as a team.
