Then please get in touch! Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a multi-skilled engineer to join our client in the Cheddar and surrounding area.
Working for a fast paced manufacturing company that operate 5 facilities and employ over thousands of employees nationwide, the site in North Somerset have a high performing engineering team which you will be joining and carrying out both reactive and pre planned maintenance across the facility, both electrical and mechanical maintenance.

• Carrying out both reactive and pre planned maintenance
• Working with SCADA, DCS and Control systems
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled during the shift to required standard
• Conduct continuous machine observation and measurement during the shift, identifying potential failure or deterioration in output, waste or quality performance from machine standards
• Working with conveyors
• Working with chain, belt driven machinery

• Mechanical or electrical bias, multi skilled background is essential
• Engineering qualifications are essential
• FMCG experience is highly desirable but not essential
• Must be happy working 12 hour shifts

• Mixture of days and night shifts
• 4 shifts per week on average
• Working 6 months of the entire year
