Apply for the Customer Advisor – Trade Point role at B&Q.

B&Q Chelmsford – part‑time, 30 hours per week, permanent contract. Shifts available Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am‑9:00 pm, UK notional hourly rate £12.98 per hour (incl. £0.27 per hour store‑specific allowance). The Trade Point counter is the heart of the business, where you’ll interact with trade members each day, build relationships and recommend products and services that suit their needs.

• Engage, listen and sell the right products and services to Trade Point members.
• Take ownership of your Trade Point members and develop an understanding of their businesses through great conversations.
• Identify and pitch new business opportunities, promotions and the trade loyalty scheme.
• Collaborate with teammates and support a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

• Great communicator and team worker with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to different situations and able to build relationships with diverse customers and colleagues.
• Enthusiastic about developing skills through training and learning from others.
