Financial Accountant

They are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to play a key role in maintaining high-quality financial reporting, ensuring robust controls, and supporting wider planning, compliance, and process-improvement activity.

• Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements in line with recognised accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing, effective reconciliation, and strong financial controls.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles with clear analysis, insights, and commentary.
• Ensure adherence to statutory reporting requirements and internal governance policies.

• Proven experience in a senior accounting, financial reporting, or financial management position.
• Strong proficiency with leading accounting software
• A solid understanding of financial accounting principles, compliance, and financial controls.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
