A leading defense contractor is seeking a Research Scientist to enhance their Data and Decision Support Capability. The candidate will work on machine learning and AI applications, particularly in processing sequential data such as sensor time-series. A PhD or equivalent experience is required, along with strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks. This role offers hybrid working opportunities and the chance to engage with academic partners and governmental projects.
Responsibilities- Contribute to machine learning and AI applications for processing sequential data such as sensor time-series to support data and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners (academic and governmental) on research and development initiatives.
- PhD or equivalent experience required.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and related tooling.
