Property Manager

Position: Property Manager (Permanent)
Property Manager – Essex (office based) – Up to £45k + Pool Car

We’re working with a multi award winning, Chelmsford based Property consultancy who (through recent portfolio growth/re-organisation) now seek an additional Property Manager as follows:

* Working office based (with parking available on site) close to Chelmsford (no home working offered)

* Overseeing a compact, local, Essex based portfolio of blocks comprising a mix of well-run purpose built/freeholder, new build and RMC developments

* Undertaking the full range of block duties from service charge budget setting to insurance provision, major works management, and daily resident/contractor correspondence

* Fully supported by your own Assistant Property Manager and Administrator, with oversight/guidance as required from the Head of Block Management

* Working cooperatively with team members across the accounting, maintenance, and major works departments

* Visiting sites as required (using a pool car), providing a customer focused, transparent and value for money service at all times

Suitable property managers will ideally live within commuting range of Chelmsford, come from a stable career background and have 2 years minimum block management experience.

This position is office based so would not suit those property managers keen to work partly from home.

As a pool car is provided during business hours and site visits are expected frequently, the suitable Property Manager must have a drivers license.

Salary for the successful Property Manager will start at up to £45k with regular reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance.
